Signage and wayfinding in a care center must help create a manageable environment where residents, relatives and staff are easily informed.

In addition, several elderly people often have reduced vision and it is therefore important that signs are used only when it is necessary and that the text on the signage is specific and clear.

It may be advantageous to use recognizable elements in its signage, such as color codes and visual elements, as several residents may have trouble understanding signs with information in text and numbers.
